The Paddle tool changes the cleaning surface from the traditional horozontal "T" shapped tool to an elongated, vertical nozzle. As a result cleaning open areas can be acomplished faster using a horozontal sweeping motion. The sweeping motion requires less arm movement than convention push-pull floor tools, resulting in less fatuige.

The bottom plate of the paddle tool is unique. Airflow is delivered to the floor through three large openings positioned in the centerand raised from the floor so it will not "seal off". Both the sides and the front of the tool are covered with large slots that keep the air flowing through the tool moving dirt into the collection system.

The entire tool measures 14 inches front to back. The cleaning foot measures 12" front to back. The base width tapers from 4.5" in the rear to 3.5" in thr front. The low profile design allows cleaning under items 1" tall up to 9 inches deep into the tool. The highest point of the tool is at the tool connector, 2.5" high. The Paddle Tool is constructed of a single peice of lightweight ABS, grey in color.

Designed primarily for carpeted areas and rugs, that paddle tool is both efficient and durable. The 13517 model of the Paddle Tool has a 1-1/2" straight connector to allow it's use on commercial "S" wands with swivle compression connector head. Does not work with 1-9/16" wand systems.
